Truth & Beauty

Got enchanted by the beauty and forgot to write down all the names of the paintings.

Details Here

Sandro Botticelli – Idealized Portrait of a Lady (Portrait of Simonetta Vespucci as Nymph) ca. 1475 This has been a favorite painting of mine since I was a little girl, so to see it in person was thrilling. This is a terrible phone shot that doesn’t do it justice, in real life it is lovely to see the paint.

The Trend of “Poverty Appropriation”

What People are Saying

Sold out Shoe

b91385ab-b874-4075-93f7-2e415a6418f4.jpgTo me, it just looks like a costume being sold as ready-to-wear, which is kind of funny and stupid.

There is already a massive Twitter thread, so forgive, this is going to be redundant:¬†people who don’t need to look for jobs (who have $500 to burn on this shoe) probably don’t need to make a “great impression”. Poor people on the other hand, don’t have a choice but to wear a shoe like this, even if they are trying to get a job or look “put together”.¬† One person’s pain is another person’s leisure. Capitalism at it finest.
